The Immigration Process

Occupational therapists are eligible to apply for permanent residency (Green Card status) in the US. As such, applicants are able to have their immediate family members join them in the US at the time of their initial landing.

Permanent residents of the US have virtually all of the rights and responsibilities of an American citizen. Access to publicly funded health care, education and other social services are afforded to permanent residents in accordance with regulations established by the federal and state governments.
