European Licensed Pharmacist Achieving
Pharmacy Licensure
This is a summary of the Canadian licensure process for foreign trained pharmacists. The complete details are available on the web at Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada and Provincial Pharmacy Associations. The ten provincial pharmacy associations each license pharmacists. To achieve standardization for interprovincial relocation of pharmacists, The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) was established to evaluate a candidate's professional qualifications, documentation and clinical proficiency. In addition to these national standards, each provincial association has additional regulations relative to communication skills, jurisprudence and clinical experience. WorldWide
