The
Immigration Process
Pharmacists are eligible to initially apply for temporary residency
(H1-B visa) in the U.S. Pharmacists who successfully achieve
full licensure may apply to adjust their visa to permanent status
(EB-3 visa).
Permanent residents of the U.S. have virtually all of the rights
and responsibilities of an American citizen. Access to publicly
funded health care, education and other social services are afforded
to permanent residents in accordance with regulations established
by the federal and state governments.
